Ray
I looking into buying a couple books from this series, and wondering if these are secular or not. TIA for any help/opinion.

twoforjoy
What are you looking for, perspective-wise, other than being secular? Because these books have a very particular bias, and unless that is what you want, I'd say they probably wouldn't be right for you. (I know they wouldn't work for my family.) Ray
Well I found this http://mises.org/store/Whatever-Happened-to-Penny-Candy-with-Study-Guide-P303C9.aspx while browsing Mises.Org which is when I recalled seeing 'Uncle Eric' thread titles here (WTM);which at the time I assumed had a religious angle. However it looks like it does not and I should not have 'assumed', for I would have looked into them sooner :001_smile: "Perspective-wise", I think that things or resources have limits and I also think that people have their own ideas of their worth. And to this I would add that the 'free-market' system seems the most reliable and fair way to allocate those sort's of things.
EKS
From what I've seen they are secular, but they read like they aren't, if that makes any sense at all. The author is a rabid libertarian. I really enjoyed all the ones I read, but I decided that my kids aren't far along enough yet to read such strong rhetoric and be able to integrate it in a balanced manner.
