Little Nyssa
I have enough things on my plate. I have run myself down doing too much. I have made a long list of all the things I do. :tongue_smilie: Now I am making a preemptive list of things I will not do. I will say No! I will not take on another project at Ds/Dd's school. I will not take on the Christmas pageant. I will not organize and teach a class. I will not be the only provider of rides to church for college students. I will not be the only organizer of VBS. I will not lead or co-lead a Girl Scout troop. If you ask me to do anything else, I won't do that either. That is all.:001_smile: Edited September 24, 2011 by Little Nyssa

oldskool
Great idea. I need to make a "not to do" list. Lesley
Aubrey
Dh & I agreed to this once. He'd been helping w/ the youth group & music at church, I'd been helping w/ AWANAS. We agreed after our responsibilities were over not to do more--it had been too much. The conversation was on the way to church. On the way home, we both admitted to agreeing to more. :svengo: It's hard. People do not respect boundaries.
Word Nerd
I need to make a list like this, as I'm a club leader for our 4-H club now and would like to slap my own face for taking it on.
