diaperjoys
I'm wondering about a bit of creative writing this year, before we head on over to Writing Tales next year. This ~3rd grader has completed WWE1, and has a pretty good grasp of the concepts in WWE2. He really, really enjoys making up stories, and maybe this is a good time to let him develop that a bit and learn to do it better. What creative writing program do you suggest? shukriyya
What about some of the Bravewriter material? Also there is Evans Moor Daily 6 Trait Writing for the different grades although this latter one might not be challenging enough for him. You can view it online at various sites if you google it. Halcyon
We're really enjoying Bravewriter here. Plus, there are a a couple of 1 dollar Story Starters available during Scholastic Dollar Days which my kids are really having fun with. The sale is only this week. tammyw
We are using Bravewriter materials also. We've started doing freewrites - at least one a week. That's been well received. We'll be moving through the steps after we have at least eight freewrites.
