Mynyel
Has anyone done this? How does it turn out?
LaxMom
How do you mean? Like using powdered in a mix to just add water? Or reconstituting it and then adding your favorite chocolate milk stuff?
Mynyel
Just looking for a cheaper way to make chocolate milk :) I don't want to buy Nesquick anymore, so looking to see if I use powdered milk will it taste OK. It will be a *LOT* cheaper too if I powdered milk is a good substitute.
Dmmetler
My mother used to buy the chocolate milk powder, mix it with powdered milk and (I think, maybe?) powdered coffee creamer, and we'd use it to make cocoa or chocolate milk. The one downside was that you really had to shake/stir a LOT to make chocolate milk-the powders did not like dissolving in cold water at all. It worked better in hot water for cocoa, or mixed hot and let cool in the refrigerator.
