LOL, yep that's about it.

 

In fact, my dad called telling me to check water/gas lines, window sills and flush the toilets.

So I flushed them. They worked. He said now look for water on the ceiling below :lol: My dad is certainly interesting in his checks huh?

 

Then he tells me to look for cracks around the windows. I don't see any and he says I will know when it rains(this weekend of course) :tongue_smilie::tongue_smilie:

 

Scientific dad. Real scientific. He lives in the south. He's personally never been in an earthquake. But that is how you check on things after an earthquake folks :lol::lol::lol:

My nephew's fiancee teaches at an elementary school near the epicenter of the quake. The roof collapsed. No one was hurt, thank God, but it certainly was a terrifying experience for some.

I know it was. In fact I thought the kids were doing crazy things upstairs! And my son thought I was mad and shaking the house in some way, lol.

 

But it was scary and we are just thankful it wasn't that bad our way. Glad your family wasn't hurt

Yes, a friend of mine is a EMT near Mineral. I know that there was damage there but for the rest of us it was scary but no damage.
