QueenCat
Has anyone done a third year of Spanish? If so, what curriculum did you use? Is it something that could easily be done by someone who used something else for Spanish 1 and 2? We are using a combo of tutorial and SOS for Spanish 1 and 2. Christi/NC
I used Spanish Three Years by Amsco Publishers (I'm pretty sure that is the name). I continued to add in sections from the Practice Makes Perfect books, music and local Spanish language newspapers. We learned so much and had a great year! teachmom3
After using BJUP Spanish 1 and 2, my two older children used (in different years) ¡Dime! Pasaporte al Mundo 21 by Samaniego et al, published by Heath. The homeschool class decided to leave BJUP Spanish after Spanish 2 because BJUP Spanish 3 didn't have an audio component. ¡Dime! Pasaporte al Mundo 21 had both audio CD's and a video component. HTH!
cat in black
My son used all 3 years of Bob Jones Spanish. He did the 3rd year with a Spanish speaking tutor. She had him read 2 literature selections in Spanish in addition to the text work. One of them was Yo,Juan de Parejo and the other was a children's version of El Cid.
