Julie in MN
Is it just physical geography, or are you doing cultural as well? Julie

Live2Ride
I looked on Netflix or the library by doing a search for the country name itself. It would bring up DVD's by National Geographic, Globe Trekker, etc. Many were available through instant viewing on Netflix. I don't remember the names off hand. I'm looking right now for African ones. We've been watching the Sudanese issues going on and other things in the news which helps them feel another connection. We watched the White Lion movie and the kids enjoyed it-the scenery was lovely.
mcilvoy6
Thanks Countrygirl! How often did you work a dvd into the schedule? Did that replace the workbook lesson for the day?
Live2Ride
I mainly added them in during lunch time or watched them for a family movie night, sometimes we replaced one for a book. For fun my kids loved the Bizzare Foods series (even during lunch, lol!). It's available for instant viewing on Netflix

Negin
Lori is amazing. I LOVE her lists. :D I used to think that I was The Queen of Lists (my dh's name for me ;)) until I met Lori. :grouphug: Lori, do you have a blog or one central place with all your fabulously helpful lists? I wish I knew you IRL. :)
Lori D.
LOL! No, no blog. But I am beginning to think towards the idea of a website in a year once we graduate our second son at the end of this year. :)
