TexasRachel
I'm having the hardest time finding a rain jacket. I need a lightweight, zip up, hooded, waterproof jacket for the summer and apparently that's impossible to find. I have an adidas wind breaker that's great, but dd has it now so I need something. everything I find is either for winter, a pullover, or not water resistant. Anyone know of where I can buy one? please. I can't believe it's that hard, but my google-Fu hasn't shown anything. I just spent an hour looking at amazon (ep. Too many choices), old navy, kohls, target, and adidas, but no luck. Help please.
happi duck
have you tried a camping/outdoorsy store like REI? http://www.rei.com/search?query=rain+jackets+for+women
almondbutterandjelly
LL Bean has an entire section called Women's Rain Gear.
MomsintheGarden
Last summer I bought a Columbia jacket for dd from ebay. This summer I bought a Sierra Designs Hurricane jacket for me from Sierra Trading Post. Both places have plenty to choose from if you keep checking back with them. Other outdoorsy gear type stores have similar items, such as LL Bean, Land's End, REI, etc. We've been pleased with both, but I must say that the Columbia jacket is a bit nicer because it has a lightweight mesh/fabric lining. Each jacket is waterproof, breathable, has plenty of pockets, and a hood, so I'd say you would probably be happy with either type. TexasRachel
Thanks for all the ideas. I've found a couple to check out. Didn't even think about looking at an outdoors shop and we were at Academy earlier this week.
