itsheresomewhere
Which one did you like?
purplemama
We did PSO Chemistry Level 1 last year and we all loved it. We are doing RS4K Physics Level 1, and while I like the text, the experiments are either too complicated or use materials I don't just have laying around my house or can purchase easily. For elementary age science, I really don't think I should have to order anything from a scientific supplier. RSO is better in my opinion. But I only have experience with two I mentioned. ChiknGirl
We tried RS4K Biology last fall and I switched to RSO Life after 2 weeks. I didn't like RS4K at all.
kalliemorgan
I did R.E.A.L. Science (Life) with my son (and by default my daughter) and we thoroughly enjoyed it. But I only have experience with this one, so I don't know! But my kids seemed to grasp everything well and always enjoyed the experiments and paperwork. tammyw
We love RSO Chemistry. I was hoping they would come out with Physics before we are done, but I'm guessing not :( Has anyone done the Life or Earth and Space? I'd love feedback on those as well. Is it mostly all reading for those two? Or are there experiments in them as well?
AimeeM
I wanted to try RSO but they do not have physics so it's a no-go for us.

I did the sample of Earth & Space with my first grader, since we wanted to do a weather unit. It seemed typical of a first grade program. It was a bit light for my son, as he's advanced in science. He could have used a lot more meat. But again, it was what I usually expect from a first grade program.
