Jeannie in NJ
I have 40 year old hardwood floors. I had a door mat that I was using upside down (rubber side up) to put cat's water bowl on. The underneath side of the mat, the side that was touching the hardwood floor had a large picture of a black cat. Well the water leaked thru the mat and when I lifted it, the dye from the picture of the black cat is now soaked into my wood floor. I tried scrubbing it with Fantastic , it did not remove even one little bit. What can i use. When I googled I got results to use Goof-off Heavy Duty or Mr. Clean Magic Eraser Extra Power. Any opinions of these or anything else I can use to get the black dye off my floor. Thanks
Kebo
If you know the floor manufacturer, I would call them and ask. Good luck! At least it's a cute stain :001_smile:
Momling
I always start mild and gentle and move towards the heavy stuff. I've cleaned off ink from wood with Comet w/ bleach. Another stain I ended up needing to sand the wood and refinish it. :glare:
Cera
Rubbing alcohol takes off permanent marker (like sharpie). It never hurts to try (just test it in a hiddenn area first).
