Greta
I'm a little confused as to the difference between the A1, A2, etc. series and the Book 1, Book 2, etc. series. For example, Book 3 says that it's composed of problems from the old A1 and A2 books. So are these just reprints? Or do they mean problems LIKE those in A1 and A2, but new ones, for extra practice? Where would you start a 6th grader in the series? She is currently (5th grade) working on Level B Book 2 in the "Dr. Funster's Think A Minutes" series, but has never done the Mind Benders series. I'm planning for next year. Thanks!

As far as I can tell they are the same puzzles in a slightly different format. The sample page in the catalog for book 3 is identical to a puzzle in my older A1 book. Once she's completed Book 3, then decide if she needs more puzzles at the same level or more challenging puzzles and move on to either book 4 or book 5. Crimson Wife
MindBenders are overpriced IMHO. You get more for your money with Dandylion's Logic Safari series or Mindware's Grid Perplexors.

Boxing Hare
Mindbenders has samples on their website. Level A was too easy for my 4th and 5th graders and we had to go to level B. I wish I had given them the samples before I bought.
