MollyAnn
When I was in 5th grade my teacher had us play The Oregon Trail, but it wasn't on the computer. Our desks were put into groups and each group was a wagon train, we had to roll dice to see if made it across a river or found food hunting or if someone survived dysentery. I remember having to write journal entries based on what was going on in the game. I don't remember much more except that it was really fun and would love to do something like it with my kids but the only Oregon Trail I can find is computer based. I don't think that it was something my teacher put together, I seem to remember having an actual workbook. Does anyone know of anything that sounds remotely like this, lol. Thanks.
