cholderby
We're doing SOTW1 plus History Pockets as a supplement. We have completed two HP projects but I don't really know what I should (could?) do with them after. There are no instructions for creating a big lapbook type thing like that shown on the HP cover. Should I put them in the history binder with the SOTW stuff? Or make a separate folder? Just completing the HP projects themselves have used up any craftiness I may have had...got any good ideas? warneral
I just bought them last night to go with our sonlight world history intro curriculum. Does this blog help? http://homeschoolblogger.com/morning/358807/
Chris in VA
We did the Ancients HP for first grade (some of it). I remember they describe a pocket folder you make out of construction paper. Are you sure there aren't directions in the beginning of the book? Ours turned out nice. You could just put stuff in a notebooking binder, if you want. cholderby
Yes, thanks. I guess that since I am not crafty, I really want/need explicit instructions on completing the book as a whole and all I have found are instructions for each project. warneral
Did you see the hole-punch/yarn construction of the book in the link I provided? I have proclick so we'll probably complete the pockets and then proclick them into a book.
Mallory
On the very first page there is a "How to use History Pockets" that tells you how to make the pockets and the book.
