Jackie in AR
Anyone have experience using the audio CD to go along with First Language Lessons? Is it well-done? Has your child enjoyed listening to it? If I decide to purchase it, I would like to find it used. Thanks!
Julie in MN
We like songs & the songs on this CD are very nice. That's the only part we used, and I still felt the price was reasonable. (And our CDs wear out so quickly that new is good for us!)
Tina in WA
We enjoy it as well. For us, it was worth purchasing. I wished I would have purchased it when I first purchased FFL book.
Mom2GirlsTX
We love the cd, but only use it for about the last 8 tracks which are the songs for helping verbs, prepositions, conjunctions, etc I will say I love it, and my kids love it... With that said, my oldest dd did like listening to the story portion of the cd also, not just the song/chant portion. Definitely worth purchasing if you are just starting FLL
CalicoKat
but like everyone else we just used it for a short time. I really think it helped though in memorizing those poems. Poetry isn't my thing and I don't think that just reading the poem would have captured my kids attention and immagination like the cd version did. They're still reciting those poems. :)
Sue in WI
Ds 7 asks to listen to it on his portable cd player, and has listened to all the stories several times. We are only at lesson 37, but when we we get to a poem or story that he has already heard on the cd, he gets excited, and really applies himself during that lesson.
