ciyates
Each week we work on PSAT/SAT/ASVAB testing skills. We review test strategies, vocabulary, common questions, take practice test ect. We spend maybe 3 hours a week. Would you include this on your transcript and if so how would you label it?
missmoe
I would put it on as study skills and count it as 1/2 a credit. Many high schools in my area have similiar classes for Freshman, so I don't think it would be unexpected to have this on the transcript. Cedarmom
Hmmm...You could label it as SAT preparation and call it half a credit. But, if you have enough other credits, I don't think I would count it. Look at the colleges your students is applying for. What are their requirements?Make sure you are hitting their requirements. SAT prep would probably be considered an elective, which is ok, but I wouldn't list it as something like an english credit.
