I was looking for a Texas backyard birds book (which I didn't find) and DD wandered into the children's section. She came running to find me, holding the latest Penderwick book with glee. She took the 3rd one on a trip recently and read it twice while we were driving, then reread the first 2 when we returned home. Is there a 4th book now, or are you referring to the 3rd book as the new one? I have no idea when it came out, but we just bought it a few weeks ago. I vaguely remember hearing of one coming out this summer, but had forgotten, so it was a nice surprise.
