enlarsh
My 6 yo ds is on book #18 of the original Boxcar Children books. He reads them so fast I can't keep up with interlibrary loan. Any suggestions for where to guide him next? I want to keep the content appropriate for his age. Thank you!
Wabi Sabi
Magic Tree House series? FWIW, I bought Boxcar Children books #2-#20 at Half-Priced Books recently for about $1.50 per book. Not sure if you have a used bookstore near you, but that may be an option that's still affordable and easier than interlibrary loan.
enlarsh
Thanks, WabiSabi, We tried MTH a while back and he enjoyed the audio books, but never seemed too keen on reading those. Those are worth trying again. Any other ideas out there?
Jumping In Puddles
The Happy Hollisters! If he loves Boxcar, he'll love these too. :)
Dinsfamily
Hank the Cowdog and Geranimo Stilton. My ds loved BC and now is onto those two series.

Heather in VA
Magic School Bus has a chapter book series that my daughter loved around the time she loved Boxcar. Another good one is Encyclopedia Brown. Heather
