Teachin'Mine
Sounds like antidepressants may be needed for a short time to help her with the depression. Continuing to pray for her and for all of you.
Jennifer in MI
This won't let me edit the original post. I saw Audora today. She is AMAZING!!!! She is sitting up (in a wheelchair that supports her head) and laughing with us. She's speaking in full sentences, but it's still hard for her. She's moving on her own. She's WALKING!!!! She is still confused and has some short-term memory issues. But, I guess that's to be expected. She told me today that it feels like she's lost her brain and that the files inside are all messed up. She also said that she's overwhelmed and feels very one-dimentional. I find such complex thinking VERY encouraging. They expect a FULL recovery. They're talking about sending her home in a couple weeks!!!! WOW!!!! I can't wait to see her again!!!
MamaT
Jennifer - I was camping all last week (without internet) and didn't see this. I just wanted you to know I will keep your friend in my prayers. Your most recent news sounds very encouraging.

Donna
Amazing news! News like that always gives me faith in the power of prayer. Continuing to pray for a full recovery and strength for your friend. I am sure she has a difficult road ahead of her with rehab and recovery.
