Scuff
We have our tax return!!! So, if I buy the digital download for map aids and evals, ect, will I be able to back that up on a thumb drive? It makes me a little nervous to not have something concrete in case the computer dies.
tagglelim
I had the same fear before I purchased the DE year and supplements. I was afraid I would lose everything I had purchased, especially as our computer is about 7 years old as it is and with failing health. :001_smile: I don't know about the thumb drive. However, I looked into this problem at the Tapestry website and it states that if a computer ever dies, you simply have to contact Tapestry and they will provide you with a new license to download what you previously had purchased onto a new computer. I'm guessing they have records of each person's purchase history so as to verify if the need is real. Hope this helps? Taylor
Scuff
Thanks! Yes it does. Our computers shouldn't die any time soon, but you never know with stuff like this. That's a lot of $ to just loose it all.
tagglelim
You're welcome! Yes, I realized my computer would definitely NOT last the next 14 years of schooling. But apparently my TOG DE will!
lexi
Tapestry will let you download everything again. Just call and they will give you a new license to download everything you previously purchased. I know from personal experience :glare: It was very easy and my new (and functioning) computer has all my Tapestry stuff again! Whew! SnMomof7
I know from personal experience too! The Tapestry customer service is really excellent in the case of a computer breakdown :). We had Unit 1, our computer crashed, and they helped me get it installed on my new machine, no problem!
