klmama
Has anyone used Modern Scholar audio lectures? Are they good? Preferred lecturers?

Faithr
I've listened to a couple. One about the three Ancient Civs Greek, Hebrew and Roman and one about the history of philosophy (that was a long time ago so frankly that's foggy in my memory. I might not have finished it). I enjoyed listening to the Ancient Civ one, I was getting ready to launch into teaching it to my teens and it refreshed my memory and taught me more as well. The lecturer was quite good (what was his name???? It isn't coming to me). However, these are college level so they include grown up stuff. I was listening in the car so I had to make sure my littles weren't being ferried around by me while I was listening. I got them out of my local library. Faithr
Here's the link to the professor I listened to, Timothy B. Shutt. He was very good. I'd recommend his course.
