monkeymama07
Im looking for read aloud books for my son - preschool age. Also could this time be in the car when Im driving if I buy them on audio to listen to :001_smile: (we spend ALOT of time in the car that is unavoidable). Murmer
We have enjoyed all the Winnie the Pooh books, The Secret Garden (I have a girl), Charlotte's Web. We have the original Curious George books on CD to listen to sometime. I just started the Red Fairy book in the car, and we are going through the Beatrix Potter Books. SnMomof7
The Story of Ferdinand is very fun, The Story About Ping - classic picture books they love. The Boxcar Children - my youngers love these if you're looking for chapter books. They also ADORE the Magic School Bus books :).
Holly
We listen to the Chronicles of Narnia in the car (Harper Collins version)...or I should say we used to since our CD player quick working. :glare: Kennith Branagh narrates the Magician's Nephew and has such a great voice. For read alouds, we read lots of poetry: AA Milne, Robert Louis Stevenson, Ambleside Online poetry selections, etc. They've also loved books by E.B. White, Holling C. Holling, Laura Ingalls Wilder, and D'aulaire.
