Guest karipley
I have decided to use Latin for Children A. But since I have actually not seen this in person and I'm not clear from the website, can someone tell me if the current version is the best version to use? I was considering purchasing a used 2005 version but then saw on the website that it had been updated. Sometimes an update means a few tweaks and other times it is major. Is anyone familiar with this enough to advise one way or the other? Thanks!
Ali in OR
I would go with a current version. I know that they updated the DVDs a couple of years ago for A and B, and I think the new version is better. I have heard that there were a lot of errors in the book when it first came out. Those have been corrected, but I'm not sure if a 2005 edition would have those errors or not. For me, I would rather go with the updated version. We have enjoyed using LfC products. HeidiKC
I bought the new version after reading that the old version had too many errors.
Woodland_Mom
The newer version is much nicer. Each chapter has added derivative study/worksheets and there are also added activity pages. The text has been updated as well.
mnllj7
We used the older version at first and switched, My dd got tired of watching the kids do things in the video that were unrelated to latin. I would think the newer would be best. nancyt.
happyhappyjoyjoy
Does it have any ecclesiastical errors? I've heard SSL has some ecclesiastical errors in the songs. I have SSL, but we haven't started it yet.
