On another social place I frequent, I put in a thread about this book that I was look for a copy and had pretty much kept it checked out of the library for the last couple of months. Someone pmed me in that place and said she had a copy and was going to send it to me. It's been about a months since then and no book. There is another one available used and I am wondering do I buy it or continue to wait? Or do I contact the person who wanted to send me the gift and ask her if she sent it? What's the protocol?
