Ferdie
I owned one several years ago, (like 7 years or so). I bought it so the kids could sweep under the breakfast table. I loved it, but it broke within a few months. Maybe the new version is more durable.
MaMa2005
I was going to buy one, but the reviews weren't so good. Instead, I got an Electrolux Cordless Sweeper (http://www.amazon.com/Electrolux-Ergorapido-Stick-Hand-EL1012A/dp/B0018QXQPQ) Same idea, excellent brand. I paid $79 for it at Costco in August and I have used it daily without any problems.
Swirl
We do. My kids love it, and so does my mom and grandmother. :) I think it's ok. Things get around the brushes and you have to unwind and pick them out sometimes. That's kind of a pain. I also forget to charge the battery sometimes. We've had it over a year now and no problems. annlaura
I have one, bought about 3 years ago, that is great for the boys to use when I'm using my better cordless. There is a little area rug in their room, so the brushes are helpful. I grab it once in a blue moon, but not as often as I thought I would. secular_mom
We had one- we had a shark before that and it didn't swivel and didn't pick up in all directions. The swivel sweeper was much better than the shark, I think the handle broke on ours so we stopped using it. (the kids liked to use it and ds can be very rough with things sometimes)
