4kids4me
I remember there's a fairly easy way...of course, it takes some of the finish off, but I'd rather than than see a huge blue blob of marker on my table!
JFSinIL
I used Magic Eraser on a coffee table covered in crayon and marker. Worked fine.
FloridaLisa
Try rubbing a buffing it with a dab of toothpaste and an old rag. This really works! Maybe something about the cleaner and the tiny grit? I just used it a couple of weeks ago on a brand new oak table that had black permanent marker. HTH! Lisa
Qs3
Yes, I agree. I used the magic eraser to remove permanent marker from our wood table. It worked great!

Quiver0f10
When William was 2 yo he colored all over the top of my brand new oak table with black permanent market and a magic eraser took it all off without any damage.
Whisperlily
Yep. Magic eraser... or peanut butter... will do the trick. :)
4kids4me
The Magic Eraser was what I was needed to be reminded about and it worked great. BTW, I believe that it actually DOES do damage...it takes the finish off slightly...but it's worth it in my opinion. Thanks again, everyone.
