LG Gone Wild
and which one? I pulled a muscle in my neck and I've got vicodin for it but it is not enough. Can I take ibuprofen or tylenol in addition to the vicodin? I've got Aleve, generic ibuprofen, excedrin xtra strength in my medicine cabinet. Perry
You can take it with ibuprofen, but don't take it with tylenol. Vicodin already has tylenol in it, so you can overdose yourself.

Mosaicmind
I am taking Vicodin/Loratab (they are the same essentially) and I used to take ibuprophen inbetween my doses because vicodin already has acetaminophen in it. Since my pain doc told me iburpophen inhibits the healing process I now don't take it anymore, just my pain meds.
Nakia
Aleve or Ibuprofen are fine, but don't take the Excedrin since it has tylenol in it. Try and stagger them because they will work better and give you better pain control that way. :grouphug:
