Help with gluten free baking...

I was going to make a recipe that calls for a cake mix as the base and figured I could just substitute the gf cake mix for my gf friend. Then I started worrying that there was something else I would need to know about substituting.


I do realize that the gf mix is smaller so I planned to adjust for that.


Anything else I need to know about swapping out the regular cake mix for the gf one?
