HollyDay
I'm looking for a good general guide book for homeschooling through the high school years. We have nothing locally and I'm not sure what to get based on sample pages and reviews. Anyone know of a great book?
Guest
I love Rebecca Rupp's Home Learning Year By Year, which goes through high school. Of course Susan Wise Bauer's The Well-Trained Mind goes through high school as well. There is also useful information in Homeschooling: The Teen Years by Cafi Cohen. These more or less conventional books pair nicely with Grace Llewellyn's The Teenage Liberation handbook for older students.
Maryalice
I agree with KarenAnn. The book I did not like at all was Form+u+la. It was filled with LOTS of busi-work forms that added no value to anything.
