mamapjama
We always make cookies and take them to our local RCMP office. I usually put them in the decorative metal tins, but realized I don't have any. Any other cute/easy ideas for containers to use for cookie gift giving? Mama Anna
Don't know how many you're giving or how large they are, but I've seen large cookies given in shirt boxes and I'm giving small cookies in those little plastic chinese-takeout-type containers from Michael's. HTH! Mama Anna
bookfiend
Chinese take out containers. There are lots of box options at the big craft stores, Michaels, AC Moore...
NanceXToo
Oh the Chinese containers are a cute idea! I've seen them at Michael's, too, in really cute designs. Too bad it's like an hour's drive for me to get to a Michael's, or I'd go get some of those for the cookie exchange my h.s. group is doing on Tuesday! I'll prob end up using ziplock bags instead, as matters stand now :P
OnTheBrink
I'm using small cigar boxes I got from someone on Freecycle. In the past, I've used zip-lock baggies that were decorated (one year, they were shaped like penguins) and I've gotten small boxes at Hobby Lobby that were specially for goodies. mamapjama
Michael's is too far to drive for us at the moment too. Thanks for the ideas :)
