Joy at Home
We have been using Frontline and need to rebuy for all three pets, but money's tight and I'm wondering if I can try a cheaper one, like K9 Advantix. Are there effective alternatives to Frontline? thanks! Lisa
MotherGoose
Don't know what the flea situation is where you live, but especially with it being winter, could you just not use anything and see what happens? I use Frontline when necessary, but that's not often. We have 2 dachshunds, and live in the country, but aren't bothered much by it. Keep a close watch and you should be able to catch it before it gets bad.
Lolosoli
We use Revolution. It kills everything. We do it in the spring. Have you considered just using a flea treatment shampoo?
Mama Geek
If there is any chance of your pets being in an area with Lyme disease, make sure you monthly apply something that is effective for ticks. Our dog ended up with Lyme and it was pretty bad.
