Laura Corin
It's interesting: the US is likely to get less-qualified British students, apart from the very rich (who can go where they please). With the fees in the UK set to rise to £6-£9,000, university in the UK will be a bad deal for those who can only get into mediocre universities, as they will be paying a relatively high fee for a not very good education. The best students, however, will choose to stay in the UK, because Oxford, Cambridge and the like will only be able to charge £9,000, which is a bargain compared to the best in the US.
