Amber in AUS
For those who have had preemie babies, did anyone buy a preemie keepsake doll which was made to the same size and weight as your baby? If you did which company did you go through? Were you pleased with the result?
ereks mom
ER was a premie, and now that he is a 20yo man, I think it would be cool to see how little he used to be!

kathkath
I bought a pattern online but haven't made one. The dolls are $$$ though. You can get weighted pellets pretty inexpensively. I think I will make one at some point in the next couple of years because my 6yo dd is very interested in how big she was at birth. (She was 890g). The point is not so much to have a gorgeous doll, but to get a sense of the size, weight, and proportion. The pics online and of the ones made with my pattern are pretty basic so maybe you could ask someone who sews to make one for you?

I can sew but i'm not sure i have the time to do it myself. Maybe i could ask my Grandmother, hmm, something to think about.
