AuntieM
Yes, BUT not at a temp higher than 350. Electric. I would probably not feel comfortable leaving a gas powered appliance unattended.
KLynnTX
Well my oven has a cook timer , so I will set it to automatically turn off after a certain amount of time. It's very convienient. I don't have to worry about fogetting, not getting home on time, or anything like that. Mine has that too, but I don't know how it works....Can you tell me how you make yours work? KLynnTX
My oven has a delayed start setting so if I set it, it will turn it self on, cook, and then turn itself off. So, yes, I do that. So, if you do that, then whatever you are cooking, is in there during pre heat and bake? Is that right? Can you tell me how you do this with your oven? I have this setting, but I don't know how to do it!
Tammyla
We could since my electric-oven has a cook-time timer option that automatically shuts itself off. It also has a built in 12 hour shut off. I'm not real comfy doing it though. Edited November 1, 2010 by Tammyla
