Julia in WV
If you're following TWTM reading list, what reading selection from John Milton did you choose for your 3rd grader? This would be the Late Renaissance/Early Modern time period. Thanks so much, Julia in WV:)
mcconnellboys
There's not a children's version of any of his work that I know of, but we've read excerpts from Paradise Lost in past. We've also read about him in an encyclopedia.

A Child's Introduction to Poetry: Listen While You Learn About the Magic Words That Have Moved Mountains, Won Battles, and Made Us Laugh and Cry Michael Driscoll it comes with a CD so it's a win-win situation! Comus, adapted by Margaret Hodges, from A Mask at Ludlow Castle by John Milton. Illustrated by Trina Schart Hyman. We enjoyed it, nice pictures.
