TheCoffeeChick
It's on a blog called Single Dad Laughing and is about "Perfection" being a disease. Powerful stuff. I was wiping away a few tears by the end of the post.
CAMom
This has been something close to my own heart for a while. Almost 7 years ago my best friend dumped me and through trying to communicate with her over why, I realized it was because I put out an air of perfection. It wasn't intentional but it was true. My 14yo daughter is also very keenly aware of this "disease" and writes about on her blog, in her songs, in her speeches, etc. Thank you for posting the link. It was good to read someone else's thoughts on the subject.:grouphug:

I think we all have a little of it running through us, but there are those who it consumes. I'm the first to admit I've succumbed more than one time in my life. :glare:
