Faline
Are there any current specials, promos, discounts, etc? I'm not sure how to search for it. We would like to join up and I'd like to save a bit if I can. Thanks!
Brilliant
I looked into this just last month as our renewal came up and it was very $$ now that we have 3 drivers. I couldn't find any discounts, so decided to drop AAA and go with our insurance co's emergency road service plan. It is $24/year to cover all of us, versus $100 for AAA. Dd already had to use it once for a lockout, and it was as quick & easy as AAA. :) My second choice was Allstate Motor Club. If you or hubby are 50 or over, AARP has a special deal that I think is the same as the Allstate Motor Club but cheaper. If you need the AAA discounts, I guess you still have to pay up and go with them. But using the internet, I have found I can usually get similar discounts to AAA. mom2abcd
Our AAA had some direct mail before Christmas that had a coupon code on it. Other things to try: -www.aaa.com/joinnow. No membership fee plus add an Adult Associate for $18 instead of the $44 regular fee. -Check that you're getting this as a gift and it's cheaper. -Call your AAA office and ask for a discount code. -Try LD1009 for $10 off/person. Or jazz0809 to waive the $17 joining fee. Or GIFT06 (G-I-F-T-zero-six). (These may all be expired.) Here's some info on other clubs: More economically friendly than AAA? http://www.betterworldclub.com/ -- GM motor club is better cheap and no limits. -- Aidme motor club http://aidme.net/page/1c1ka/MEMBERSHIP_PLANS.html http://aidme.net/page/190z4/COMPARE_MOTOR_CLUBS.html
amey311
I agree with OC Mom - check with your auto insurance first and see if they have a roadside assistance plan. Some include it as part of your insurance automatically.
