mims
I am just starting looking for a science for this spring or next year for my 10 year old daughter. She is a just on grade level reader, loves mom holding her hand, etc. I know she is quite a few steps from being ready for upper level Apologia (we've done it with the older two but they were strong, independent readers). What sciences would you recommend that will force her to be a little more independent such as some worksheets and written more to the student? She hasn't done physics type courses or chemistry so I would lean towards those type of subjects. We are Christians and I would probably prefer Christian but it isn't totally necessary. dani3boys
I am using this with my 6th grade boys right now. http://www.answersingenesis.org/PublicStore/product/Gods-Design-for-Science-Complete-Curriculum-Set,6506,153.aspx We have used the life science books and are now using the physical science books. They have been a good fit for us.
mims
This looks like a good possibility. I had heard of it but never looked closely. Thanks!
