Christyinco
I know I've seen it somewhere! I have the Basic College Mathematics (6th ed.) that we used for Pre-Algebra. What is for Geometry, Alg. II and Trig/Pre-Calculus? I think the Geometry is Essentials of Geometry for College Students (2nd Edition) Thanks! Jann in TX
Basic College Math (my preference) OR Pre-Algebra = Pre-Algebra Introductory Algebra (my preference) OR Beginning Algebra = Algebra 1 Intermediate Algebra = Algebra 2 College Algebra with Trig OR Pre-Calculus = Pre-Calc I like to fit Geometry in between Introductory and Intermediate Algebra. The Lial Geometry book is OK--not many are made because Geometry is not a prerequisite for College Maths so most community colleges do not offer it. Also, because it is not used much there is not a video support (DVT) option. For Geometry I use the Holt 2007 edition with my online classes.. but you really have to have the teacher support CD for this program to work and it can be hard to find. TT's Geometry is fine, and Jacob's 2nd edition is also a good program--I DO NOT LIKE Jacobs 3rd edition (it is 'discovery' based and hard to teach).
