kalanamak
I'm looking for things like tin cans turned into pencil holders, but updated a little. E.g. I'm staring at a nice, solid plastic ketchup squeeze bottle that is stout enough to withstand a float across the Pacific. Before I chuck it, is there any art technique, etc that a sits-on-its-lid ketchup squeeze bottle can participate in? What are your tricks? Photo Ninja
I reuse those bottles, but not for art. I buy the large cans of ketchup from Costco, then pour them into the bottle and refill it. The bottle lasts a long time, and ketchup is cheaper purchased this way.
celticmom
You could put liquid paint in it to squirt on paper. Maybe fingerpaint? Or you could fill it with water to squirt on brushes to clean them. Decorated it could hold dishsoap in the kitchen or lotion, shampoo, or conditioner in the bathroom. Shhhhh, my husband needs a Costco 12 step program, and if he hears about this, you can guess what will be in my garage tomorrow, and in the lunchroom at work, begging for a home, in a week.
