3lilreds in NC
I have my copy of Writer's Jungle and have not read it yet, so if that's what I need to do, I will just do it. I'm trying very hard to get some planning done this week while I'm down to just Schmooey. How many times per week does one do this program? I know I need to implement the Brave Writer lifestyle, which I've read about, but am confused about what to do exactly with the Arrow lessons. It seems like, from reading through it, that assuming they can handle the copywork, you could do 2 days - one for copywork and one for dictation? Am I missing something? Jan in SC
I'm just starting the program. My dc will have copywork three or four days a week. (Right now I'm using their memory work as copywork topics.) We will start the eight week freewrite tomorrow. I haven't started the Arrow ideas, yet. I'll do that in September. I also use WWE ideas. The copywork is the same idea, and then I'll have narrations from history (SOTW) and science. The dc will have dictations once a week to begin and then the older ones will have them a couple of times a week after a month, or so. We will probably wait to introduce the poetry aspect until after we start the poetry book with MCT. Really, I have all of these grand ideas. I hope some of them will work!
