tjlcc
My friend is homeschooling her ds,12 using A.C.E. (School of Tomorrow). She is interested in an online program for him instead because a) she works b) she and is concerned about A.C.E.'s math and science "weaknesses". Her ds would like to become a dentist. Could you give me some recommendations/reviews for/of online programs? Thanks.
6packofun
Does she have Connections Academy in her state? It's public school at home, but they offer quite a bit and I know several families here in OH that are very happy with it. I'm sure it varies by state! http://www.connectionsacademy.com/our-schools/availability.aspx

cjshima
I used K12 (cava) and liked it. There tends to be a lot of writing in 6th grade and above, so if your child doesn't like to write, that could be problem.
tjlcc
Thanks to all who replied. I should have mentioned we are Canadians. :blushing: I have looked at The Potter's School and virtual homeschooler's group. Will take a look at Veritas Press.
