Homeschooling Hannah
We are going to start the book Story of the World for history and I wanted to incorparate a couple movies (for visual). My children are 8 years old so I need rated 'PG' or 'G'. For example, I love the movie Troy (it's rated 'R'). Is was great for an adult. I wish I could find the story of Illiad (The Odyssy) for children in a movie. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thank you in advance.

tranquilmama
My kids loved the original version of "The Clash of the Titans" and Jim Henson's "The Storyteller: Greek Myths" both available on nextflix (and easily accessible as we have it streaming to our Wii.) JumpedIntoTheDeepEndFirst
There is actually a cartoon version of the Odyssey. The kids think it was called something like the Adventures of Odysseus. There's Ben Hur or the old Anthony and Cleopatra. (Not sure of the rating so you may want to double check or be prepared to skip scenes.) Also, if you can find them, BBC has done TV versions of the Royal Diaries books including Cleopatra and the Roman Mysteries Series.
