Whether it's because the smoke detector is fixed or because dh is home or whatever, I'm relieved! I'm still going to put an extra clip of some sort on the crate while my niece is here, but it looks like this may have just been a fluke thing. I REALLY appreciate everyone's input from yesterday! It's technically Radar (GSD satellite dish ears, lol), and the other is Charlie, so the kids call them Ray-Ray and Char-Char.
