helena
I'd like to find something a little more elegant than Zaner Bloser. I've looked at Smithhand which is nice enough, though it looks kind of ordinary. Has anyone out there tried it? For my 9yo I've ordered Pictures in Cursive http://www.rainbowresource.com/product/Pictures+in+Cursive+Book+A/047728/1281553816-1640467, but my 11yo wants to learn something more sophisticated. I've read the long thread on Spencerian, and I'm willing to buy it for her. I just wanted to make sure there's not something out there I'm missing. Thanks! :)

Whereneverever
We like D'Nealian D'Nealian is nice to teach- but it's not really a fancy script.
helena
D'Nealian is nice to teach- but it's not really a fancy script. I agree. She's already worked through the Zaner Bloser books, so her basic cursive skills are strong. To me ZB and D'Nealian cursive look similar, in fact many of the cursive programs look alike (to me :)). I would be happy to find anything that's a step above these in the ooo la la department. :D
Aurelia
I keep looking at this site for the future, as I'd like Ariel to learn Spencerian.
