WishboneDawn Posted July 27, 2010 Share Posted July 27, 2010 My 3 month old puppy has been going to the door and scratching or whining to get out for a day and a half now. No absent-minded squatting in the house since noon yesterday! She made the connection between peeing/pooping outside and getting a treat and doing the same inside and getting nothing. Now, she's wanting to go outside every 20 minutes or half an hour. She had a few weeks ago but I don't think it's that (she can hold her pee 6-7 hours at night now). I think she's decided that if peeing gets her treats then she's going to take advantage of that and milk it for every bit of kibble she can.
