michaeljenn
I have decided to use GWG this year for my children, but am unsure of where to place my oldest daughter. She has completed Rod and Staff 4th, 5th, and then we hit a wall in the 6th grade book at about lesson 5:tongue_smilie:!!! She went to public school for 6th grade last year, and did NO grammar at all! So, for 7th grade I put her in the Rod and Staff 6th gradebook. If you ask her what any of the parts of speech are, she can kind of tell you what they are, but truly does not have a grasp on it at all. Sooo, what level should I put her in? She will be an 8th grader this fall, but I am thinking the 8th grade book may be above her? Any advice would be great! Moxie
I had a question about GWG a few years ago and I emailed the author. She was really helpful and even talked me out of buying something from her that I didn't need!! You might try contacting her for help. Sasharowan
My ds14 used GWG7 last year in 8th grade. He had minimal grammar before and did ok. We used 7th because 8th wasn't out yet. This year we are going with MCT.
