orangeblossom
Sorry, I just went back and saw your question about what I put bananas in. I take a wonton wrapper, put a blob of Nutella in it, along with a half slice of banana, and deep fry it. Then sprinkle it with icing sugar. It's a seriously yummy dessert! Night Elf
Okay, I'm one of the world's worst cooks. Where do I find wonton wrappers in the grocery store? I really want to try to cook this! :) Thanks!
orangeblossom
I usually find them around the produce. They need to be refrigerated, so look in the open coolers. Often they have an Asian section near the produce and you'd find them there. Just use the small wrappers, not the big ones. Let me know how they turn out! Mrs Mungo
Our stores usually have a small refrigerator near the produce or deli that hold fresh salad dressings, tofu, etc. That's usually where you'll find the wonton wrappers. You can pan fry the chocolate raviolis instead of deep frying, it uses less oil. They just need to cook about a minute on each side.
shell in SC
OFF TOPIC but, the first time I read the post I thought it said "I have your banana SWEATER"???? What???? I think I'm losing my mind!
orangeblossom
Thanks for this Mrs. Mungo. I've never tried pan frying them. It certainly would be easier. Maybe that's not such a great thing though...I'd be making them a lot more often!
