steppingstonemomma
We are switching from Saxon to TT7. My kids know all their mult and div. facts, but in the Saxon book they were doing reducing fraction drills and improper fraction drills, etc. I am not seeing any kind of drill work in TT7 so I was wondering what concepts should I drill them on through the year? I'm planning on printing them off from websites and would like to get a head start before my TT7 books get here. Can anyone help with concepts to drill? SilverMoon
www.math-drills.com is where I head when we need plain ole drills.
HSMom2One
We are doing TT Math 7 next year too, and I am going to supplement with LOF one day per week. I bought LOF Fractions and also LOF Decimals & Percents. Going by the WTM recommendation, I thought this would add some interest and variety to what we are doing, plus reinforce on the two areas of math. As to regular drills, have you ever checked out Calculadders? I've used them before and they are great. Here is a link to Calculadder 6, which drills on fractions, decimals and percents. hsmom3tn
My son did TT6 this past year and we supplemented with the Key to Fractions books and the Key to Decimals books. Now he's working on the Key to Percents books.
