Guest aloysiuscarl
It made me so hungry! Now here's a recipe just right for our cold weather here. I just made CPP for company that was here last night and today froze my leftovers. Don't try to bake puff paste on the casserole per se as you might do with a biscuit crust. Bake your puff paste alone on a cookie sheet.I used to have a recipe using sour cream, a can of veg-all, 1 or 2 cans of chicken, and some kind of soup, either chicken broth or cream of chicken. gandpsmommy
Here is the recipe we love for Creamy Chicken Potpie With Rosemary Crust. It is one of my daughter's favorite meals in the fall and winter. I substitute chicken stock for the chicken buillon and water specified in the recipe. I usually double it and make it in a 9x13 casserole dish. Perry
Chicken Pot Pie IX from All Recipes is our family favorite. Yu-um. This is the one I use too. Instead of pie crust, I put the filling in a casserole bowl and top with puff pastry.
