Chicken Pot Pie Recipe, Anyone?

Recommended Posts

Guest aloysiuscarl

It made me so hungry! Now here's a recipe just right for our cold weather here. I just made CPP for company that was here last night and today froze my leftovers. Don't try to bake puff paste on the casserole per se as you might do with a biscuit crust. Bake your puff paste alone on a cookie sheet.I used to have a recipe using sour cream, a can of veg-all, 1 or 2 cans of chicken, and some kind of soup, either chicken broth or cream of chicken.

Mix melted margarine, flour, and milk in a separate bowl and pour evenly over chicken mixture. DO NOT STIR!

Bake for 40 to 50 minutes or until golden brown crust forms. Serve hot.
